Like you, we have spent the last several weeks & months learning about the coronavirus (COVID-19) and how it is impacting our world.  We are closely following the Centers for Disease Control's (CDC) guidelines and recommendations on the steps we can take to help prevent the spread of the virus.  Here is a complete list of everything should do if you decide to do an In-Person Home Tour.  As you are probably aware of most of these recommendations - its always good to remind ourselves of the basic CDC guidance:

AVOID CROWDING:
  • Use online booking and scheduling to stagger customer flow
  • Use online transactions where possible
  • Consider limiting attendance at larger gatherings

USE GOOD HYGIENE:

  • Stop handshaking... COVID-19 spreads most easily with person-to-person contact
  • Clean hands at the door ... Because of the transmission methods of COVID-19, it is very important to maintain cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Avoid contact with doorknobs, tables, desks, and handrails... COVID-19 may have a particularly long shelf life on these smooth surfaces!
  • Keeping the lights on will cut down on surface contact
  • Make sure everyone in your party is healthy & not exhibiting cold/flu-like symptoms... It is very important that anyone experiencing symptoms quarantine themselves to reduce the risk of transmission of COVID-19

Take advantage of all virtual methods of touring houses.  Stay safely at home while an agent gives you a LIVE VIDEO TOUR of a for-sale home that you are interested in.

Limiting your exposure to large gatherings of people protects you from being in contact with people & surfaces which possibly could be infected.
